Introducing Keno

by Harper on Aug.14, 2019, under Keno

Keno is a game you will have knowledge of or you do not. It is generally deemed as a lotto in the casino. Like the lotto, the game is made up of numbered balls being selected. The challenge is to select the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can either be quick or slow based on the casino. By playing Keno on the internet you can control the speed of the game. As for me, I love real life keno. You relax in a lounge, if you want, and play. Keno is a game that you don’t have to be in the lounge to participate and be a winner. For example, you could purchase a ticket for twenty games and then go gamble on something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you are staying in the casino.

Keno Board

The game is gambled on on a board. The Keno board is made up of eighty total numbers – numbered one to 80. The top forty are called the top portion and the bottom forty are known as the bottom portion.

Participating in Keno

Each round of Keno plays out the same. The game starts, and twenty numbers are selected. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and picked, just like the lottery on television. Some other casinos utilize computers. If a number you picked is selected, that’s called a "hit." When all 20 numbers are selected, the game ends and winning tickets are paid-out.

There is a fair amount of options in the game of Keno. For instance, you can choose one number, 2 numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. As a rule, you have to hit a majority of your numbers to win anything. For example, if you select 6 numbers, you will normally need to get 3 to get your money back.

Keno Payouts

The payouts in Keno are fairly big. The probability of coming away with a win is based on the total numbers selected. For instance, if you pick two numbers, you will have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino’s Keno department has their own pay outs. If you are going to play on the internet, make sure you shop around for the greatest pay outs first.
