It will not generally be considered the best game in the realm of wagering, but keno has huge amounts of devoted admirers. And so it should! Don’t drop this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers you and wants help out, without a winning slip on you, you will get precisely $.00 for your efforts.

And there you have strategy numero uno: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let’s move to something a bit more complicated, yes?

After you’ve marked your numbers, settle into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action unfold on a big video monitor. This is where the winning numbers are shown in lights. If you have winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, and then a new drawing will most likely begin within five minutes.

Strategy number 2: always make it back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to beat that 5 minute margin each time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from two to 20 tickets. When the maximum number of rounds (the same as the number of tickets) is played out, you are then able to get off your numb rump and go retrieve your winnings.

Yet another choice is recognized as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which usually allows you make number picks for 30 keno rounds or more. Hell, you can take a world tour and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to get your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!
