Keno was created in 200 before Christ by the Chinese military leader, Cheung Leung who utilized this game as a monetary resource for his declining forces. The city of Cheung was at war, and after some time seemed to be facing country wide famine with the excessive decrease in supplies. The lottery ‘Keno’ was brought to the USA in the 19th century by Chinese expatriates who headed to the United States for jobs. In those times, Keno was played with one hundred and twenty numbers.
