Keno is a game of luck with a rich and acclaimed history. The game that we know and love has experienced remarkable changes since its original inception. Gaming chroniclers have followed its background as far back as 200 B.C. to a Chinese form of amusement called ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It’s a well-recorded fact that a variation of keno was played in a bingo-like format on the eastern seaboard right around the time of the huge Chinese immigration during the gold rush.

In its latest style, keno is a bit like bingo in that both games are centered upon numbers. A single keno card comes with 80 numbers and the player can pick as many as he or she would like. This is done by circling or otherwise marking the numbers using a pen. After the bettor has picked out the numbers, he or she must take the card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The cashier will then provide a slip after recording the gambler’s numbers. It’s the responsibility of the gambler to redeem any winning keno card before the upcoming round starts, so stragglers must keep alert.

Now that we have reviewed some of of keno’s captivating history and basic rules of game play, you are almost certainly chomping at the bit to find out where you can wager on keno on the internet. And that is only a reasonable thing for an avid keno gambler. Rest assured you have a great many options to pick from when it is time for some serious net keno excitement with all the fervor you expect.
