Keno Methods That Work

by Harper on May.08, 2022, under Keno

It won’t usually be considered the most lucrative game in the universe of gaming, but keno has millions and millions of devoted admirers. And it should! It’s a consistently exciting lottery-ish game that’s a breeze to play, readily available in many different formats, and one that may pay out millions for people who master its countless subtle rules. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules for now.

When explaining keno to newcomers, some betting connoisseurs compare it to lotto. This is at least partially apt, in that both games are basically numerical. Yet to carry that comparison too far can be to detract from the innumerable unique characteristics that make keno so interesting. Unlike bingo, keno players have the power to select the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as many (or as few) numbers as he wants. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your desired numbers with a every day oldmarker like you had when you were a kid.

Once you have checked your numbers, carry the keno card back to the person at the keno booth. The nice person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and would like to help out, without a winning slip with you, you will get precisely $.00 for your time spent.

And there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us advance to something a little bit more complicated, what do you think?

Now that you’ve picked out your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and watch the action happen on the big keno monitor. That is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you selected winners, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to dilly dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno booth to get your winnings, since a new keno game will most likely get going within not too many minutes.

Strategy #2: always go back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to beat that 5 minute margin each time, you always have the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to 20 slips. When the maximum amount of keno games (matching the number of tickets) is played, you are then able to get off your numb butt and go redeem your winnings.

Yet another opportunity is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which generally lets you make number selection for thirty keno games or more. Heck, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to worry about getting back in time to collect your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you have learned several required methods for winning keno. If you are an accomplished user, they might seem to be quite obvious. But it doesn’t hurt to study up on the basic tactics, and if you are a novice player, every little bit of direction will help make your keno betting more captivating.
