Keno is a game of luck with a rich and illustrious history. The game that we are currently familiar with has experienced remarkable alterations since its original creation. Gaming chroniclers have followed its history as far back as 200 B.C. to a Chinese style of amusement called ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It’s a well-recorded certainty that a variation of keno was played in a bingo-like format on the eastern seaboard right around the time of the humongous Chinese immigration during the gold rush.

In its latest style, keno is something like bingo in that the pair of games are based upon numbers. An individual keno card comes with 80 numbers and the player will pick as many as he/she would like. This is accomplished by circling or otherwise marking them with a pen. Once the bettor has picked out the numbers, he or she has to take the card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The clerk will then issue a receipt after marking down the player’s numbers. It’s up to the player to redeem any winning keno card before the next round starts, so stragglers need to stay alert.

Now that we’ve covered some of of keno’s compelling history and basic rules of game play, you are most likely chomping at the bit to find out where you can wager on keno online. And that is only a reasonable thing for an aspiring keno player. To be sure, you have a great many possibilities to pick from when it is time for some serious internet keno action with all the thrills you might expect.
