Introducing Keno

by Harper on Sep.26, 2015, under Keno

Keno is one of those games you either know about or you don’t. It’s typically seen as a lotto in the casino. Like the lotto, the game is made up of numbered balls being selected. The goal is to pick the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can either be fast or leisurely based on the casino. By wagering on Keno on the web you can control the speed of the game. Personally, I love real life keno. You relax in a lounge, if you want, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you do not have to be present to enjoy and be a winner. For instance, you could put in a ticket for twenty games and then head off to bet on something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you’re staying at the casino.

Keno Board

The game is bet on on a game board. The Keno game board is made up of 80 total numbers – numbered one to eighty. The top 40 are called the top half and the second forty are referred to as the bottom portion.

Playing Keno

Each round of Keno goes the same. The game commences, and twenty numbers are selected. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and picked, exactly like the lotto on television. Some other casinos use computers. If a number you marked is chosen, that is referred to as a "hit." When all 20 numbers have been picked, the round finishes and winning tickets are cashed-in.

There is an abundance of choices in the game of Keno. For instance, you can pick 1 number, 2 numbers and so on up to 20 numbers. As a rule, you have to get most of your numbers to come away with anything. For instance, if you pick six numbers, you will usually need to hit three to win your money back.

Keno Payouts

The payouts in Keno are pretty decent. The odds of getting a win is based on the total numbers selected. For instance, if you select two numbers, you will have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino has their very own pay outs. If you are playing on the web, be sure you shop around for the best payouts first.
